We would like to extend a massive thank you to the Lakeland 50&100 community for their kind donation which has enabled us get this website developed.
Marc Laithwaite and his incredible team of staff and volunteers have supported our founder Rich Price through his journey of recovery, embracing him as one of their own and as an active participant in their events.
The Lakeland community are an Ultra-special Ultramarathon community and we are incredibly grateful of their ongoing support and recognition. In July of this year, Rich, his wife Sian, and some friends in recovery held the fort whilst managing the Howtown checkpoint, seeing over 2000 competitors safely through and back on the course.
This earned a number of our recovery advocates a place in next years Lakeland 50 race. We can’t wait to see them cross the line in 2026. We will be keeping a keen eye on their training and reporting on their progress.
